Fees vary based on the complexity of the trip and will be clearly communicated before any planning begins.

Service fees are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Due before planning or booking begins

  • Separate from supplier costs (e.g. flights, hotels, packages)

Sage & Sky operates as a fully insured business to uphold industry standards and client confidence.

1. Who We Are

Sage & Sky is an independent, Indigenous-owned travel business operated by Tyanna John, helping you plan and book memorable travel experiences by connecting you with trusted third-party travel providers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies.

2. Role & Responsibility

I take pride in planning meaningful travel, but it’s important to know that:

  • Sage & Sky does not own, operate, or control any of the travel services you book (including flights, hotels, tours, transportation, or excursions).

  • We act as an intermediary — helping you access services provided by other companies.

We do our best to recommend reputable providers, but we cannot guarantee their performance or safety.

3. Limitation of Liability

By booking with Sage & Sky, you agree that:

  • Sage & Sky and Tyanna John are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, death, property damage, delay, financial loss, or inconvenience that may occur during your travels.

  • We are not liable for the actions or errors of airlines, hotels, tour companies, or any third-party providers.

  • You understand that all travel carries some level of risk, and it’s your responsibility to assess your personal health, fitness, and safety before booking or joining any activity.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Emergency medical coverage

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • Personal liability

This is your responsibility as a traveler.

5. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings require a deposit or full payment, depending on the supplier’s terms.

  • Once booked, your reservation is subject to the cancellation, refund, and change policies of the individual service provider.

  • Sage & Sky does not control these policies and cannot override them.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when booking

  • Meet all health, passport, visa, and vaccination requirements

  • Follow local laws and customs while traveling

  • Communicate respectfully with Sage & Sky and with any service providers

7. Changes & Cancellations

While we’ll always do our best to assist with changes or cancellations, please note:

  • Any modifications are subject to availability and supplier policies.

  • Sage & Sky may charge a small administrative fee for time spent managing changes on your behalf.

  • Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to the terms of the third-party provider.

8. Assumption of Risk

By booking travel through Sage & Sky, you knowingly accept the risks associated with travel, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, accidents, or other unexpected disruptions. You release Sage & Sky and Tyanna John from any liability arising from these risks.

9. Final Agreement

By confirming a booking with Sage & Sky, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from using our services.
